I just got back from setting up our display (Dewalt's RV) at the Fort Washington RV Show (http://www.ftwashingtonrvshow.com/). During a break I took a walk around to see what was their. For those that like the smell of canvas (or Sunbrella, Aqualon, etc) you should be pretty happy; there was a decent number of popups around. So if you feel like spending $7 to get in, or you want to put a face to my name (I'll be their Friday, Saturday and Sunday), then stop by. It looks like there should be something for just about everyone.

Does anybody know which way to go when I get to Mid County tolls???
Am thinking about going on Saturday.

Go east from the mid county tolls one exit to the Ft Washington Exit.  From there, go straight after the tolls toward Pennsylvania Avenue.  At the first light make a right and follow the signs through the business campus to the expo center.

Thank you! Natacha
Not sure if I am going to make it, but I would like to.

I would like to go, but DS has to get his braces adjusted tomorrow morning.:)

Well I made it there, have been by there before, just didnot know it...to one of those vacationclub thingeemabobs.

Jim, you are a hard man to catch, wanted to say high, but first you were in a motor home, then twice with people in that beautiful trailer acros from the raffle table.

Got to say hi to Lonnie from Slicers, he sold me my bantam.

Speaking o selling...I saw my trailer, the one of my dreams, Raymond who was home (as usual) said I could go look but could not buy.

Another dealer (sorry Jim, lost my sale unless you have one like this come in used in a year or so) had a Trail Cruiser, in fact 2 that caught my eye. It had a hard sided slide like the Coleman Caravan, a sofa slide and bunks in the other end. I could see me taking out a set of the bunks and putting in a clothes bar, setting up those plastic drawers on the other two bunks and living in that bad boy.  I think it was about 24' maybe 26', The other one that slept 10 did not have the slide for the sofa.

When I got home and talked to the money master of the house, he said the Bantam met my needs and I did not need a new trailer...well, lets see $18,000 new, if I wait a year or two until the pain in my arthritic shoulder is too bad to hold up the bed/door to secure it, and I save every penny, maybe I could afford to buy one used, for cash and justify the purchase...ya think?

Sorry about that, but I was trying my hardest to scratch up a sale.  :D  (that beautiful trailer you're referring to is the Chaparral 292, and I have to agree with you on that one because it is a very nice unit)

This was a rough show -- not much was sold by anyone. And we had damage to 15 of our 22 units. :yikes: With no sales, and lots of damage and vandalism (including 2 radios stolen!), we may never go back their again.

Actually, Coachmen does have such a product. It's called the Captiva EX and some of the very first ones ever made should be at our lot before the end of the month. I'm excited because I think we REALLY need a product like that.

I saw parents letting their young 'uns test thing out by doing a lot of jumping on the bunks and sofas. Did not see any radio in hands, except Cell phones...sorry about the damage, I know one of your all's lost a converter and had to be closed down.

I was suprised to see so many bells and whistles in some of the trailers (the Trail Cruizer had oven, DVD, all the perks) and no body in them to watch over them.

Wish raymond would let me get one of those with the slide out end and bunks, but them he knows I might like the trailer better than I like him. The bantam is easier than the popup, but this looks even easier, Noticed that the travel star (star craft?) has the slide out end too.
How much did you say my B21 1999 well loved Bantam is worth in trade??? That's right you did not say, did not get to talk to you...
I can throw in a 1992 Jayco 1006 well weathered popup??

The Cascade 270BH spit out a converter Friday morning, but the powers that be wouldn't let me lock the door. Things like that can happen to any manufacturer, but personally I think it was a bad idea showing a dark trailer.

Geez, that's not even a subtle hint.  :D

According to the NADA Guide there's no B21, but there is an M21. That unit is listed as $4280 wholesale and $5900 retail. There, satisfied now?  :p

SheBantam

Thanks Jim, I knew where to go, I was just kidding...No B-21?? I'll have to look they used to have a B-21 for 1999 listed that was how I dickered the price down on the Bantam with Slicers.

With the awning, stablizers, air, furnace and water heater:
Low Retail  Average Retail
$4,900           $5,900

Lets see, I paid $8300 in 2002, Have to wait a year or so before I can
seriously think about upgrading, then it will be worth about $3500 and I cannot change my screen name/e-mail address that easily, so I will have to wait for a trail-lite to come up used

somewhere...sometime...somehow.

It used to be B21 don't know what happened there, infact I think the trailer even has B21 on it.
