Our son is getting married. He proposed yesterday at Church. It was awsome. Just before Church ended, the preacher said there is one more song to be played. Everyone looked at each other, even the ones in the choir looked at each other and thought what song? The music started playing and our son stood up. He sang Broken Road by Rascal Flatts. (Awsome song by the way) Then he walked down to Tonya, dropped on one knee ( At this time, the whole Church heard Pam (His mother) say "OH MY GOD". She didn't know this was going to happen) and proposed. Most of the Church was surprised. The boy can't sing, but he did a good job. I'm PROUD of him. Love makes you do strange things.

He met her in Church and she (Her and God)has changed the boy around. He has straighten up so much it's almost scary. She is a school teacher in Ocala. (Rookie teacher of the year) Anyway, the wedding is June 25th. We were planning on camping with NFPUC in June but had to cancel those plans for the wedding. Maybe we will be able to to make it July with PUT. Have to see how much money I have left after the wedding.:yikes:

If I sound like a proud father and father-in-law to be, it's because I am.

Please wish your son and his new fiancee our best.  I have only one piece of advice.  If each of them put God first in their lives and eachother second they will have a blessed and fullfilling marriage.  Take it from a man that spent the first five years of married life thinking he knew what he was doing.  Until I accepted Christ and put Him first I was just going through the motions.  Now that God is first, I am a better husband and father than I ever was before.  God bless them, and we will be praying for a spirit filled wedding and marriage.
