My other friend Rachel is coming and going to be on site #10. As of now, the only site left in the circle is #18. Do we have a list of who is on what site?

Here are ours:

#10 Rachel   (2 adults, 2 kids)
#13 Jennifer (1 adult,  3 kids)
#14 Jennifer (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog)

Hi All,

We, (The Stones) are in space #3.  For potluck dinner we are bringing:  Cincinnati Chili and Coffee Toffee Bars for dessert.  For breakfast I am making:  Sausage breakfast potatoes.  They are kind of like twice baked potatoes and I put the filling back into the little "boats" of skins and heat them up and they are great for breakfast!  I will make them Friday morning and they will be done for Saturday, we'll just re-heat them.  That way my DS (19) who isn't going with us can have some for home also!  They keep very well.  I've already made the chili and froze it.  I'll just re-heat it in the crock-pot and I'm set! :#

I also looked on the website for weather and it seems it's typical Julian weather, cool, but could be nice in the sun during the day, very cool at night.

DH and I will be ready for a late-night campfire Friday night. :D

See you all soon!!

Hi Everyone,

SAD NEWS....we have had a death in the family and there is a posiblility that we won't be at William Heise this weekend.  We just haven't decided what we are going to do yet.  Matt, I think you live by me somewhat.  I have sent  you an e-mail hoping we can get together so I can give  you all the fun stuff I have prepared for the weekend just in case.  Call me please.  I will try to have everything updated for you all.....and, we'll just have to plan another William Heise trip.  How about in one year?  Anyway, don't call dib's on our site yet, we just might show up.

If not, HAVE A GREAT TIME EVERYONE!!!!!  Someone please take a lot of pictures and send them to me.

Dear Group,

Here is the deal: We are not going to be able to make it after all.

It all started when my ex-husband (for 10 years now & my kids dad) thought it would be great if he hung out/stayed with the kids and I while we were camping. Well, for some strange reason, I didn't think it would be so great.

Yesterday he then informed me that he figured out why I didn't think it would be a good idea. He said, "I know it is because you have a new boyfriend so just come clean and tell me the truth!" This is neither the case nor any of his business. Nonetheless, he went on to tell me that he was going to show up just to make sure I was not lying to him.

Therefore, I have decided it would be best if we sat this one out and in the future I will not disclose the name of the camp! Just because he is NOT a gun carrying, outwardly violent type of person and has 18 years of sobriety, doesn't mean he would not have shown up and attempted to create a scene. Additionally, I didn't want to take any chances at ruining anybody else's trip. I didn't want to bring any "drama" especially since this is the first time I would be meeting you folks.

That brings me to the fact that I have my space reserved and it is too late to get a refund if I cancel. I am in space #4. I just spoke to the reservation people and they said if I found somebody that wanted the spot I could call them and they would change the name on the reservation.

If you guys are able to find somebody that can use the spot, send me an email at leslie.williams@transcore.com (that way I will get the email right away). If I can recoup my $35.00 that would be great, if not well that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Let me know and have a great time!

Sorry to hear about the death in your family, Roberta.  Glad you will be able to make it though.  My heart and prayers go out to you.

Leslie, sorry about your troubles.  I have a friend that after 15 years of divorce is still having problems with her X.     So, I know somewhat of what you're going through.  I hope you'll be able to join us sometime soon.

Can't believe this weekend is over already.  We all had a great time, the kids are exhausted ( us too).

Thanks to Roberta for the goodies and wagonmastering.  The park was great and could not have asked for better weather to camp.  The pop-lucks were great.  We are looking forward to our upcomming trips with the group.

Sue Hardee

ditto to all that Kim said.   It was a wonderful weekend the weather was great.  Thanks to Roberta for wagonmastering this event.  We ended up with about 46 people..lot of kids...Meeting new people was also great...I saw lilacs in bloom and wild turkeys in the meadows.   Nanny and Pa were also very tired....
