Gas prices where you are

I filled up at a little convenience store here in town today for $3.98 gallon. Hope prices keep falling, I've got a huge trip ahead of me in a little over a month!!

Gas prices are all over the board here. One station was $4.17, the same station in a different location was $4.27, and yet another location was at $4.79.

Looks like we are still above $4 here.

It's down to $3.87 by us. Just returned from a trip to London. Gas there is $1.79 per liter!

I drive electric now so have not been paying much attention but I did notice that gas was around $3.08 at the station across the street from my shop.

Last few times I've filled up for around 2.75 per gallon. Helps using various discounts like T-Mobile Tuesdays at Shell stations, and using BJ's Gas Rewards program...

Saw $3.09 here over the weekend, but then they said a price increase was coming. Since I haven't left the house in 4 days not sure how much it is today. The Ford gets used so little anymore I don't even look at prices when I fuel it up. We use the Kroger's fuel point discount. MIL uses our number too so points add up quick. Since wife's work is only 2 miles up the road, we usually have 80¢ or more off a gallon before the Acadia needs gas. Double points for gift cards really make points add up in December!

We've been using those "brownie points" too.  Last four tanks of gas I used $1/gallon discount.

Went to the store yesterday, gas was at $3.38.
Only part about the gas points I hate are the folks who line up two or more cars to fill up. I know there is a limit as to how many gallons you are allowed. Guess you can't blame them for getting their money's worth.

Have to brag here. Used our fuel points yesterday to fill up. We had $1.20 worth of points but max allowed is $1.00 per transaction. These were points earned during the holidays buying gift cards.
Gas was $3.25 per gallon, so we paid $2.25!

Getting four times the dollar amount in points for gift cards in December is always a huge bonus for us!

Well, at least at BJ's, the discount is limited to 30 gallons, not quite enough for me to fill the truck when it's empty. My "T-Mobile Tuesdays" Shell gas discount is limited to 25 gallons. Can't line up any cars on that!!

I think we are around $5 right now. I think it's down from last year, but still too high. If not for the camper we would not be able to do anything. Hotel, Fuel, Food all way up at least the camper gives us some flexibility .

$5 is too high for gas. Today I've seen it from $3.18 up to $3.25.
When I first started driving gas wars had it down to 19¢ a gallon.
