Well, Coachmen finally has them up on the web.  8 floorplans with a couple on an 8.5 foot box.

I like them....they look pretty good if you ask me. :D

I like the looks of them too, and I like the way the trunk slides over to the side.  I hope someone in my area picks up a franchise so I can see one in person.:)

As i understand it any Coachmen dealer will be able to handle them.  They were going to creat a new dealer network for the "Coleman" line, but when the name went away so did the new dealer network.

They look pretty nice. I also noticed that they copied several of Fleetwoods (Coleman) features like the stepper door, full length door and swing level style galley.

I like the looks of it.  the sliding fron storage is a great idea.  The extra storage in the back is nice too.  I would like to check one out to see it in person.  Though don't think I'll be giving up me 05 Niagara though. :-()

I like em.  But I would still rather go with a Hybrid.  Probably would cost the same.  Did you notice that they offer as a standard feature ...A/C Ready. But in the options area they don't offer A/C?   Hmmmmm

How do the weights compare to the Fleetwoods (Colemans)?   Anybody know off the top of their head?  I could find a chart and compare, but I'm feeling rather lazy today  :D [/FONT]

Well, Let me be the first to say, I don't really care for them from what I see.  The storage in the back is kinda nice, but did anyone notice that there is a large panel that looks like it has to be removed everytime you crank up / down.  I am looking for less set up steps, not more.  Also don't like that there seems to be no high wall designs.  Not to mention, that I guess they just look a little funky to me.  This of course is just my humble opinion.

I was wondering though, how they got away with copying so many of the Fleetwood exclusive designs.  The rear crank, the fold down galley, the step door, etc.  I wouldv'e assumed these designs were copyrighted and belong to Fleetwood, just like the name.  I wonder how that worked out?

Things are patented not copyrighted. The patents have run out.

So, it looks like the Grand Haven SS is almost the twin of the Coleman Bayside, after Fleetwood switched the floorplan - or am I missing something?  I think they look very interesting.  I'd love to see one in person!

At the dealers in my area the A/C is added at the dealership.  If the A/C unit on a new trailer wasn't a Carrier Air V with heat, I wouldn't buy the trailer.

OC Campers

OK I'll chime in, since they mostly copied Fleetwood I would tend to just buy Fleetwood. They at least have a track record for quality and this is a completely new line. If however over time these trailers prove as reliable or even more reliable than Fleetwood, you never know. If they are just as good and maybe even cost less, they could sell quite a few of them.

I agree on the highwall, If I ever upgraded my trailer I would definately go highwall or Hybrid.

It isn't a surprise that they are similar to the Fleetwood trailers.  Fleetwood purchased the PU factory from Coleman (when Coleman still made their own products).  So if Coachman was going to make a Coleman PU, I thought it would have look like a Coleman PU.  As for the quality, my 1986 Coleman was better quality than my 1999 Coleman/Fleetwood.:)
