We have a 2003 Fleetwood Sequoia PU. We are going camping this week and this will be the first time we will be able to use the awning attached to the PU. We purchased the PU about a year ago and the dealer showed us how to assemble the awning and of course we forgot how to do it. Is there a manual for the awning or can someone give us some pointers!?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Unroll the awning (be careful that the poles don't fall out and hit you) when the PU is only part way up, so that you can reach the bag to unzip and unroll the awning easily. There are legs attached to the awning rail (the metal at the end of the awning away from the PU). The legs collapse into themselves and fold up into the rail when the awning is put away. You need to pull the legs out of the rail so that they go down to the ground. There are little pins that pop into holes in the upper leg of the awning. To line up the pins and the holes there is one strip on each section of the pole that is wider than the other strips. You will have several (3 I am guessing) other poles that are not attached to the awning. These poles go between the PU and the awning rail, "rafters".  One end will have a  black plastic point that goes into little holes in  the awning rail. The other end has a rubber foot and goes against the roof of the PU and are placed inside the woven loops inside the awning. These poles also have the pins and holes to expand and shorten them. You will need to expand the "rafters" until you get the the right length, so that you can put them in place and not be so loose they fall down. The last step is to stake the awning out so that it doesn't blow up over the roof of the PU.:)

Most people keep one end of the awning lower than the other so that rain will run off and not pool on top of the awning.
