Hi

I have a 1998 Coleman Sea Pine.  Has anyone ever cleaned the a/c filter?  I'm embarrased to admit I haven't.  We haven't used it much, but still I'm pretty good with everything else.

Any suggestions??

On my Carrier Air Conditioner there are 2 filters that you pull out and wash.  I do it several times a year.  I am amazed by all the stuff that builds up on them.:)

We pulled ours out and replaced them.  Very easy.  On our AC, just a couple of screws.  The only thing is DH put in green filters.......UGLY!!!

Hey all, where are these filters?  I must admit also that I have not serviced our Coleman-Mack AC unit.  We've used it all of about 4-5 times in the past three years.

On the Carrier Air V you can see the filters and you just slide the reusable filter in and out of the base of the AC unit.:)

My Coleman AC air fiilters (there are two seperate filters in my model)  are located up in the ceiling fixture. There are two black plastic blade headed screws on each side of the inlet side that allows the grill to come down, holding the filter. Just use a quarter to unscrew the plastic screws, and the grill comes right down, with the filter in the grill. Just hose them off, allow to dry, reinsert filters back into the grill, tighten the two screws. Do this to both sides, and your done for another year.
