Unfortunately, I don't have a garage or carport.  I also have lots of trees on my property.  Does anyone have any recommendations for the type of cover I should get?  What is everyone else using?

I would recommend a stand-alone portable garage type cover.  It will cover the top, you can even get the kind with "walls" to protect it more, but will avoid the trapping of moisture.  It's tempting to get the covers that are made to fit over your trailer much like a car cover does, but unfortunately that leads to moisture builidng up and you can end up with mold in and on your trailer.  If you check the older posts on this site (use "cover" as a search word maybe) there have been many posts about this over the years.

I would buy one of the breathable polypropylene covers.  I would not use a tarp.  As long as the cover is breathable you shouldn't have problems.:)

Thanks for the advice.  I went and bought one of the polypropylene covers.  It seems pretty sturdy and fits my camper well.  We got a good hard rain last night.  The camper was wet underneath this morning (so much for being waterproof).  However, everything was dry by this evening.

I cleaned up the exterior of the camper this weekend including inside the air conditioner.  I found some bits of one of those blue plastic tarps under the AC unit as well as about a pound of dirt dobber nests.  Now I know why some interior light fixtures are corroded.
