Please pardon my ignorance, but i am new to this and you guys have been EXTREMELY helpful with my previous question, so I have another one:

My truck owner's manual says towing a vehicle over x lbs requires a anti-sway device (or something like that).  Do i get this from the camper dealer or from the company installing my tow package?

Estimated cost?

A HUGE thank you to all of you out there willing to help out "newbies".  It is greatly appreciated.

Usually anti-sway equipment can be purchased where the hitch was purchased.  If the hitch was a factory install, you can always contact the dealer to see if any anti-sway equipment is availabble.  If not, I would think that a good local hitch dealer would be able to advise you sufficiently.

I had mine put on by the PopUp dealer. I think it was about $80.

Was it an anti sway device or a weight distributing hitch?  If it was a sway bar you can have the trailer dealer install it or do it yourself.  I had my dealer do mine.  $80 to $100 should cover it.:)

You ask a good question GB.  I thik ours was around $100 and was put on by the hitch company.  IMHO, whatever the cost, I would get it.  The added safety to you and your family while towing are worth every penny.
