Some people have made a new wood base for the stove.  I would think the laminate would work, unless it has a low melting point.  I will need to make something for my stove somewhere down the line.

I have the same problem with my 02 coleman cottonwood. I was going to call fleetwood and see what the replacement cost would be, I'm sure not cheap. I thought about making one out of wood, it would be stronger but not match. I hate that fiberboard stuff! :eyecrazy:

If I'm not mistaken, //www.popupgizmos.com started selling replacement counter tops for the outside stoves. They are not listed on their website, but you might want to e-mail them.
