Been camping since I was 1. But bought our '99 Starcraft Constalation in the summer of '01. We had our first young-un in apr of '01 and the wife wouldn't let me take her tent camping so we bought the PU since it had a head/shower, a fridge and a heater. She got to go camping when she was 5 mo old. What a blast.

I made some modifications and added a homebuilt cargo cage to the rear(for firewood, battery n crap, shifted the axle to the rear 2" (to compensate for the new weight in the rear) and added 2" to the height(my big Jeep has an 8" lift). The camper had a "wardrobe" but I made 1/4" ac plywood shelves to make it a pantry. I also fabbed a holder in the hitch to mount 2 batteries, bringing it up to 3 batteries. All the camping we do here in CO is without facilities. And of course the standard anti-sway.

What other kinds of mods has other people done to their rigs?
