Are Golf Cart tires the same as camper tires?

Specifically the 20.5x8x10 size?  I'm hunting down some replacement wheel/tire combo sets and if I google "20.5x8x10 tires" it's coming back with some links to online golf cart tire sales places.  My 85 Stallion has 20.5x8x10 4 lug, C rated wheels/tires on them and I'm curious if they're one in the same with golf cart tires?

here's one place I found that had decent wheel & tire prices

anyone ever hear of Multi-Mile tires?

They are the same size, but not the same tires. Road rated tires will have an ST for special trailer in the size. Regular golf cart tires will shred in just a few miles at highway speeds. I found out after a moron sold me golf cart tires but before I got them mounted, thank god.

They use Multi-Mile tires on alot of boat trailers. My dad had them on some of the trucks for his business. I think they are also heavy into Big Rig tires as well.

I had found my ties for the PU at a tire place that mainly did Tractors, big rigs etc..they carry all the specialty tires

I called around to a couple trailer tire places and found a place that has the tire/wheel combo for $60 a piece for the 20.5x8x10 C rated 4 lug.  The local Farm & Fleet is supposed to transfer 2 of them in from another store, but I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for that to happen.  If F&F doesn't call me by Saturday, I'm heading to the place I just found.

I'm in the market for new tires as well and mine are the same size.  I'm shocked at the prices for these tires.  I've done a lot of digging around and found a couple of dealers on ebay that have the best prices.  Here's links to them.

For those that know tires, do you think C rated tires are sufficient?  Wouldn't you get a much longer lasting wear from a D or E rated tire?  Is it worth the extra money for the better tire?
