Jacqui, I made covers for our Coleman Extreme's out of Refletix I purchased at OSH. I measured the chests and cut Like a gift wrap. I used 3M spray contact cement to glue the sides together.

They should have done a show about one of our rally's.  That's where all the camping idea's and such really fly around.  Plus we have all the different kinds of camping covered, Tents, Pop-Up's, Hybrids, Travel Trailers, etc

yes but its a family rated show..they'd have to quit filming before the campfire and the Apples game came out and the Fish Squad fully assebled:yikes:

We thought all the emails and phone calls meant we were just "under consideration," but we met with them yesterday afternoon and it turns out they were just waiting to finalize selection of a particular campground and schedule! (Hey, Dee, we saw your picture on the wall in their offices!)

So....November 18-19 we go to Joshua Tree!  Not as glamourous as the Grand Canyon, but it will still be fun. (I really would have loved to be the family that got picked for Fort Wilderness in WDW!)

 I think the "big" DIY project we'll be doing is installing solar panels on the Westlake!  (although I was hinting that they could contact Coleman about getting us a new roof!)

They took us into the editing room and we got to see the raw footage of the shoot they did at Campland.  It is definitely going to be fun getting an "inside" look at the "magic" of television!  

BTW, they are still looking for one last family who is REALLY into tailgating and would want to do a show at the Rose Bowl this year, so pass the word along to everyone you know who has any kind of rv and loves to tailgate. (I'm thinking they'll probably go more for the Class C types, though)

Gosh, I'm sorry to see that we missed the '60's theme rally.  Dee, I think you need to bring that wig to Campland and we do it again!  Since you were born in the '60's it would definitely work as a theme for the 4-0 rally!
