Hi, I recently bought a 1984 18.5 Viking Little Gasser.  I have never owned a PU before and I am not sure how to get the water running in the sink with the glley hand pump.  It doesn't really tell me much in the owners manual.  Can anyone give me some advice.

Thanks
Sandy

With water in the tank you pump the handle up and down.  If you are hooked up to a hose you lift the handle and water flows.  At least that is how my 1986 PU worked.  Good luck and congratulations on the new PU.:)

tlhdoc is right.  However, the easiest way to do it is like I did with my Viking.  Go get a SureFlo water pump, and an inexpensive wet bar faucet from Home Depot and replace the pump handle.  Oh, wait a minute, I HAD to do that when the DW snapped the pump handle off the first trip out!   Life was alot easier though after the Mod was done.  Look into it, the DW will be a happier camper too.

What is involved with installling a Sureflo water pump and how much are they?
