New Baby!!!!!

Hello all!,
Been a while since I signed on to this forum.  My wife Nicole had our son last week our first one!!!!! His name is Rowan Christopher!  So now the only one camping in our pop up the rest of the season will be visiting freinds and family who would like to stay the night.  (Hehehehe the thought of my mother in law spending the night in a pop upHAHAHAHAHAHAHA):p So we are already planning our pop up excursions for next season!:)  I would enjoy hearing any advice and tales featuring newborns camping. Talk to you soon everyone take care especially those in the weather affected areas down south our prayers and thoughts are with you.

We took our oldest (now 21, and getting married TOMORROW!) on her first camping trip when she was less than 6 months old.  It was back in our tent camping days, and it was fairly cold.  She kept crawling out of her sleeping bag, and one of us would take her into ours to warm up.  She felt like ice, but she slept through the whole thing.

The point: Kids are remarkably resilient and can endure a lot more than we give them credit for.

Enjoy your son.  They grow up very fast.

Congratulations on baby Rowan.  

We bought our popup right after our 3rd child was born.  He went on his first camping trip when he was 6 weeks old. He is now totally adicted to camping.  He goes out in the garage and talks to the popup.   It is actually easier when they are tiny because they can't go anywhere.  You just have to bring more "stuff".  When Matt was little we would bring along the Pack n Play.  We would lay the dinette flat and then place the crib on top of the cushions.  Some say it fits where the table would go but ours didn't.
 
Enjoy Rowan and may sleep come to you quickly.
