...the gas prices?  $2.16/gallon regular!  Just a few months ago, I wouldn't have thought I'd ever see that price again!

Ain't it great. We are not that low yet. But getting close. About $2.39

HersheyGirl

I paid 2.29 per gallon here in Hershey tonight.

ChisholmTrail-er

I saw 2.23 here, A-B.  Glad the lower prices are coming my way.

I'm moving.  I was excited to see it drop all the way down to $2.539 here.  Apparently, I need to print this thread and send it to the idiots who run this state.

oldmoose

Well, on the left coast I paid 2.72 gallon last night. The cheapest I've seen recently was 2.69 gal. And now we think that's cheap.

We have a couple of stations that are having a gas war.  Don't know how long it will go on but it is down to  :yikes: $2.049 at the cheapest one.  Happy Camping.....

Like Moose, we are on the left coast, but he is in So. CA and we are in No. CA and I paid $2.68 on Monday and Tuesday it was down to $2.63.   Makes you want to kick youself because I didn't wait one more day, but I was already running on fumes so didn't have a choice.   Hope this downward trend keeps up.

Look Jan ~ you don't have to move far!!!  (Of course, you can come live by me anytime! :D )

The low gas prices are probably a response to the record profits recently posted by the oil companies.

It's just a matter of time before the subpoenas are issued and oil executives are called on the carpet.

We can only hope!  The really stupid thing is that diesel has always been cheaper than gasoline.  It went up this time right along with gas, but has stayed up there!  Here in So. Cal. regular gas is running about $2.69-2.79, but diesel is still about $3.39!  Diesel is basically the byproduct of processing gasoline, so why is it so high!  If the truckers of this country went on strike to protest the high prices, we'd all be in trouble, so I don't understand why the government hasn't forced at least this fuel price to stabilize at a reasonable rate.

zamboni

Grrr...

And I was all excited to find gas at Costco was finally down to $2.55/gallon.  I was excited.

Until I read this thread.

Thanks :(

It has been 2.199 here for a week.  Columbus Day weekend I paid 2.899 in New York state and it was 2.79 at home that weekend.  It sure has come down.  I guess it is my carpooling that has saved so much gas that the prices had to come down.:eyecrazy:
