Like it says ~ does your PU have a name?  If it does .... what is the name and why did you choose that name?

We've done this before a long time ago ~ time to do it again!

I'll go first  :D

Yes ~ my PU has a name.  Her name is Hershey because she came to us from Hershey PA.

My kids think it's great ~ every time we hit a bump on the road someone asks "Is Hershey okay back there?"  Now they want to name the van Graham Cracker and only camp back-to-back with our friends who have a PU named The Marshmallow!! (of course, they'd have to name their TV Graham Cracker too  )

We call it the Taj MaHaul.  It was given that name by GeeMan, who has a small A-Liner.  I suspect he got tired of us ribbing him about how big ours was and how small his was.

And never, ever camp with someone who calls their pop-up Nestle.  :yikes:

Of our group of popup campers, TT's and a 5th wheeler, I ended up having the smallest camper so it ended up being called "PeeWee". Of course, there were two tenters, they were just called "The Nomads". However, there's been some downsizing and my popup is now just one of three 8' box popups, but the name of PeeWee still prevails.

We are not too creative.  Ours is called "The Pop Up".  We have only owned it since 1999...I guess we could start thinking of a name for it.:D

We call our Pal, "the camper".  BUT....the TV is called the "Moose" and everyone knows why...it is as big as one. :D

Surprisingly, ours is called Moose Lodge with the initials M.O.A.P.U.'s. It stands for Mother Of All Pop Up's. My SIL's camping club gave us that name after they saw all of the stuff we brought out of the popup and car. I have 2 Dutch oven tables plus our Road Trip Grill and other assorted items. A year ago, I had a sign maker at the Ventura Co. fair make us a sign with a moose and popup and the initials underneath. It' looks cool.

When we got our first dog (a Bichon Frise) my son was only three. He had and still has some mild learning disblility. For whatever reason, he couldn't pronounce "poochie" he said "snoochie." Somehow that turned into our family consisting of a "daddy snoochie, momy snoochie, sister snoochie, son snoochie, and......POOCHIE SNOOCHIE!" Emphais added because that is how mo son and now the family says it. When we got the PU, our dog didn't want to leave in the morning after our first night in "camp driveway." So my son named the PU the Snoochie House because "we are all snoochies and we stay in the small house when we camp." There you go, kind of corny, but that is how it came about.

We just call ours the camper.  We haven't had anything happen yet that's resulted in a name.  Might think drying it out in the hanger might have generated something, but nothing suitable comes to mind.  We do have a 1994 Plymouth Sundance that we call "The Bomber".  DW isn't too happy about driving it.  When she has to drive it she calls it "The Bummer".

I like the Taj MaHaul.  Think that's neat.

We can't decide, opinions needed. Either QQpop-my daughter really liked ZZ TOP when she was about two, but couldn't think of the name. Or, SoccerCamp-both kids and dad play, and dad coaches. What do ya'll think?

My first PU didn't have a name, but the second one (78 Starcraft Starmaster-8) I proudly named it "The Old Barge"

The third PU (98 Coleman) didn't have a name either, though the friends I sold the Old Barge to kept calling it the "Lap of Luxury"

My current trailer is a Hybrid, and it's been christened the Rolling Motel Room...

And now I'm into my latest thing, I'm converting a big old diesel pusher school bus into a MH...I call it the "Behemoth" because it's so gigantic...
