The weather is looking better than it had been, but who knows.;)

BBQ sounds good to me if you want. Nic was thinking of making a big fruit salad to go with foil meals but we would be glad to go in on a group meal. Let me know what you wanted to do. Would be glad to run out to a local place to help pick up stuff. I can't wait.

I will bring perogies and kielbasa.:)

Tee shirts for the trip are dark green.  There were 2 M made for the trip by mistake.  If anyone wants them let me know.  Shirts are $11 each, first come first buy.:)

Hey Andy, looks like we are doing a group meal.  Would you like us to bring some burgers up with us or are you planning on running out somewhere?  Let me know.  We will still bring fruit salad.

Hey all!

Well we got home this evening from our three day trip to Plymouth, MA with the camper...  We had nice sunny weather driving there.  We were about 20 miles out and saw the rainclouds hovering over our destination.  We had three days of non-stop downpour rain.  Everything is soaked.  We did have a good time heading into town to the ocean and had some really good seafood fresh on the Harbour.  (actually we went back there a few times the food was so good!)  We visited the local Wal-Mart.  We passed a Ford dealer and checked out a few vehicles.  I didn't buy any.  I just bought a set of windshield wipers for the van since it was raining so hard.  We got to know the interior of the PU really well - really well.  We drove 80 miles just going into town a few times.  The CG was virtually empty.  Last night around dinner time two slide-in truck campers pulled in a few sites away from us.  At that point the winds died down and I put out the awning since we both were going crazy with cabin fever.  It was still raining, but I did my campfire in the rain trick ;) and I could tell they were wondering how I had a roaring campfire in the rain.  We made some marshmallows and it felt good to be outside...

OK for this BBQ we are bringing a steak or two, some tortilla chips with salsa dip, and some cold buds.  If we need anything else, we can run into town like Andy said to the Grand Union.

One more day!  I was loading some stuff in the TV last night and got the coolers out.  KC thought I was going camping and started crying when I went outside.  I guess she really wants to go camping.  It looks like it will be cold and windy, so I don't know if I should bring her, but I have packed most of her stuff in the TV, so I think I am bringing her.:)

I'll be thinking about ya'll while I work a full day Saturday and part of Sunday (we have debt reduction changes going in and new initiatives for Chronic Renal and Certain female cancers, everything has to be tested and retested and the rest of our programs have to be regression  tested to make sure nothing is broken).

Have a good time...

Well, wish me luck tomorrow morning or wish me dry weather.  My wipers will not shut off on my truck so I had to pull the fuse.   I am going to run to the mechanics in the morning so now it looks like I will not leave until later in the morning:(   If they cant figure it out I might have to hope for dry weather on the drive and chance it without wipers so wish me luck.  If all goes right then I should be up there between 2-4 pm.  Can't wait to see everyone again.  Rick, I already have a good amount of wood for the fire(s).

copcarguy

dademt:  99.999% of wiper systems turn on via the ground wire.  In other words, the "switch" closes the ground side of the circuit, not how it's usually on the positive side of the circuit.  Make sure the wiper motors mounting bolts are snug, and see if that helps.

The forcast for Haines Falls looks really nice.  You should be okay without wipers.  Maybe make a temporary fix with 2 male connectors similar to the ends of the fuse, and throw an inline fuse and toggle switch making a jumper wire sort of thing...  I know you have all that stuff laying around.  LOL!

I am "wired-out" right now, I just installed a stepper door light on the new PU, charged 4 deep cycle batteries, and installed 2 on my parents camper.

I can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!  I am ready for sun and then a nice big fire.

Hi Guys!

Tracy, I guess since you didn't get ahold of me, that you don't need to bunk with us. Hope the fixed everything with your pup.

Erika won't be able to get off work until 3:00 pm, so we are really going to have to push to get there by 9:00 pm. Wish us luck, and pray to the Flying Spaghetti Monster that we don't hit any traffic jams.

Later Gators...

John thanks for the offer and NO my camper is not done, but I went and picked it up after work today.  I just got home and have to finish packing.  I am charging the battery on the tongue of the camper now.  See you guys tomorrow.:)

Rick what is the exit number that I want off of the through way?  I don't remember.

dademt

Thanks, I didn't realize that was a grounding circuit.  I will be sure to check that out in the morning.  If I have time in the morning I will complete my wiring on the additional batteries but if not then I will do it up there.  I have one mounted and two spares.  Tomorrow can't come soon enough.
