What Camping stuff did you get for Christmas?

Now we just have to make sure we have hookups when we attend a campout with a potluck!

You can always use a converter for the cigarette lighter of your car and use that!  I also use my crockpot to keep stuff warm at potlucks, such as french toast that will get pretty bad if left in an open container while everyone goes through the line.  I love my crockpot.

I got a set of non-stick pans, a 3 qt crockpot, a throw for the couch to keep me warm when napping, some DVD's & CD's and a griddle that I will exchange for an electric skillet.  We also received a $100. gc to WW from our friends for what ever we didn't get for our HTT.  Santa brought me a heavy glass glass as I do not like plastic glasses.  Our DGD's DVD player quit so we gave her the one from the HTT and we will replace it with a DVD/VCR in the near future.  There are still several things on our list so the gc will come in handy.  Glad everyone had a good Christmas.  Happy New Year and great camping memories in 2006.

I got a digital camera from my husband, and I also got a dutch oven and 2 cookbooks.  All you SCCapmers better get ready, I'm gonna experiment on you!  Bring on the potlucks.

I got a gameboy (still a kid, I guess) and a camping watch so I don't ruin any more "nice" watches when camping.  This one is waterproof, etc.  We'll see!   :p

Hasn't it been wonderful warm the past few weeks?  For a while there I thought we might loose all the December snow.  Not any more.

We got telescoping tent poles for use in erecting tarps in bad weather. Also decided as a gift from us to the Aliner, DH and I are waiting till spring and either getting that newly custom designed Paha Que add a room for the Aliner or a larger QuickShade .

I'll just have to make a new rule for the kids ~ they're pretty good most of the time!  Besides they might figure out if they know how to get hot water they know how to do dishes and mom will put them to work!!

My kids got me the 2006 Rand McNally Road Atlas (I'd asked for it), and it's very nice - shows construction zones.  It will go in my PUP, and the old one (2000) will come back into the house (for use when I can't use computer).  We have a second photo printer - somewhere, which we hope to find room for in the PUP to use this camping season!  (That wasn't a gift - it was a back-up purchase a few years ago).
