I'll start it off with a GPS, a 2 million candlepower spotlight, a 10 million candlepower spotlight, but I also got a little pocket flashlight from my 9 yo daughter Ashlee that she paid for herself, that will always be the brightest one in my book. I also got some VISA gift cards that I will using towards an Electric tongue jack for the TT.

However, to all my camping friends (and you know who you are) I will be using the other two spotlights mentioned above to torment every now and then when we are out at a CG!    LOL

OK i'll tell you what I got for the PU for Christmas. I got a Weber Baby Q grill with a stand and a carring bag from my wife and little girls. My mom gave me a gift certificate for Camping World. And believe me i will use them both. Viking the best gifts are the special ones we recieve from our little one's. Mine are both in pre-school and they each made me an art project for Christmas, and i'll keep them forever....Hope everyone was as lucky as me.............Ed C.  :sombraro:  :XMas

I got a Coleman perfect flow propane skillet and a big bottle of Thetford toilet chemical.:)

I didn't get anything for our Hybred, unless you want to count the 2 DVDs.   Received some other real neat stuff from hubby, kids, and grandkids.   The best part was spending Christmas with the kids and grandkids.  Christmas is so much more fun with 5 grandkids running around all excited.   They are such a joy.

Happy Holidays and a fun filled New Year everyone.

I got a thermo-electric cooler (actually, I bought it myself and told my husband that it was his gift to me :D ) With the kids constantly in and out of the cooler for drinks I was buying ice twice a day.

We got 2- 12' surf casting rods & reels, a small compact "Cyclone" blender (for making Margaritas), a propane deep fryer that I have no idea what I will do with (re-gift :p ), CampingWorld gift card, a cool flash light and a wonderful loving family that is looking forward to another year of great camping :D .

Mmmm...our daughters got Leapsters and Gameboys to entertain them during the roadtrips to campgrounds...and I got a handheld Tetris to manipulate since I can't have my Tivo remote when we are camping....oh!  And I got a foot spa to soak my weary feet in after our camping trips.   :p  Bran got flashlights that need no batteries (Did you see them at Costco?  Great deal!) and that Christmas-themed pop-up tent trailer lighted decoration.

Oh, and Viking....my youngest got an kiddie electric guitar, with a microphone headset---and she has been singing her original songs for days (and driving us crazy!)....so, BRING IT!  Bring on the spotlight....I will just plop her right out there for all to enjoy!!!

Happy New Year's All!

I got a digital camera (Paul has to be dragged kicking and screaming into new technology) so I can finally maybe upload some pics of camping trips, a Norah Jones CD to calm my frazzled nerves after a long drive with fighting kids, and best of all, an Apples to Apples game for those rare SCCampers campouts without Dee!  We played it Christmas night, had fun, but it just wasn't as fun as it was in Pismo with the group.  I can't figure out if it was the lack of people or the lack of alcohol!  :p

I got a 14" dutch oven. I want to build a fire in the driveway so I can try it.

We have used our Dutch ovens inside our regular oven.  One need not wait for a campfire to DO!

My DW bought me a Crock Pot!

We took part in some campground potluck dinners last year, and we struggled to cook stuff for the large groups.  We noticed the proliferation of crock pots and DUs by the more experienced campers at these events, so voila!  I am now the owner of a crock pot for the PU!

Now we just have to make sure we have hookups when we attend a campout with a potluck!

I got a nice green camping mat  :D  I threw away the old one we had and the past 2 trips have been miserable without something to catch the dirt & leaves. Can't wait for next season.

So, how do you do it?  Set the oven for 350 and pop the DO in?  Do you have to alter cooking times?  Was thinking of doing some DO wings for a gathering on Saturday, but didn't want to spend time outdoors replenishing briquettes more frequently because of cold.

What do you do with a 14" DO?  The thing's big enough you could just about crawl into it.  No.  You wouldn't.  You couldn't.  Please tell me you don't!

BTW, got no camping gear for Christmas.     That's OK, now I can get what I want!   :D

Perhaps it was the lack of taking a trip to the "bathroom" after the game was over???  Just a thought....;) :p :D

Oh, you guys just won't believe me.  I could surely be more creative than the bathroom!  ;)
