Battery Charger Suggestions......

Newbie looking for some advise.....
 
 Looking for some suggestions as to models or makes of battery chargers to use in charging my camper battery over the winter (and in between trips during the season as well).
 
 Any one out there have any surrestions (as well as the general prices range?)

Look for a good three stage charger that has a built in battery reconditioning (Desulfate) mode.  Vector is the most common brand I see around here.  The smallest with a desulfate mode is around $50.

Vector is available at WalMart with the Black and Decker name and it is available at Home Depot with the Husky name.
 
 Great charger with desulfate mode as well as equalize mode. These modes can be triggered manually VS the ones that say they automatically check for sulfation. These will also check for it and let you know it should be done.

I have a Vector Smart Charger from Wal-Mart (2/10/20 amp model) and I am happy with it.

I have a Schmacher Compusmart battery charger that has differnent settings for different batteries. It can condition a battery ( sulphation ) and has a digital readout that displays the state of charge.

I bought one of these Schumacher Smart Chargers from this eBay seller. I was so happy with it, I bought 2 more as Christmas presents for friends. This guy has all sizes, look at his store. For the price, you can't beat it.

I also bought one of these...same ebay seller.  Very satisfied with the charger and the seller.  I think I paid $22 total, including shipping for a 12-6-2 charger.
