Be careful what you wish for...

We got about 4-1/2 inches of snow Tuesday night.  Now being in Minnesota, 4-1/2 inches is an amount that is often just ignored and driven over.  But on her way home from school Wednesday, PJay noticed someone getting their driveway plowed.  She thought, "I wish someone would come and plow our driveway."

Of course, we could contract for smeone to do so, but then we'd have to pay them.

She got home, and the driveway was completely plowed out.

We have no idea who did it.  We have never said anything about having the driveway plowed, have never paid anyone to shovel or plow, but there it was, carefully and cleanly plowed.  We sure would like to thank them.

When I was a kid, some wise guy had a swimming pool installed in his neighbor's back yard while they were on vacation  :yikes: (neighborhood fude :eyecrazy: ).

or they got the wrong house that happened here in Cali...roofing contractors tore the roof off the wrong house :yikes:

As a younger fella, I would snow-blow my family's drive and sidewalk....and then the next door neighbor's...and the next...and the next.....:frosty:

Ok..where were ya? We shoveled a foot of snow off the 75 ft driveway on Sunday.....   My muscles still ache!

I got out the ol' hairdryer...and did a snowblower on our dusting this week. Whew! My muscles are sore!
