I opened our 94 Coleman Destiny pop up to clean it and let it air out for a few days.  Then I went to close it today.  It will not close.  The handle just spins. Every few turns, it will make a "popping" sound.  Any ideas?  I really need to get this thing closed.  It is stuck open so I cannot take it to the dealer even if I wanted to.
Thanks.

Ouch!  Sorry to hear about your problem.  It sounds very similar to the same problem my neighbor had with his 95 Coleman.  With his roof, the clicking was one of the gears was releasing itself from the others, it would feel loose and would not move the roof down.  He had to take a long screwdriver and move the gear into place.  I would cranked down the roof until it released again (about half a turn).  He would then move the gear back in.  This cycle continued for about 10 minutes but we eventually got it down.  He just took it to the dealer for repair.  It was an easy fix, they just stabalized the gear as it was obviously moving forward and backward instead of staying still.  I would just make sure nothing is blocking the roof inside keeping it from coming down itself.  His crank arm is in the back of the camper, not on the front side of it (in case you wanted to compare your issue to his).
