What vendor has the lowest price on the Reese Mini 350 weight distributing hitch.

Thanks

I don't know if this will help you or not but when I bought my weight distribution hitch I searched for the best deal and at the time I found //www.hitchmart.com to have about the best deal I could find. What I bought for my popup though was the single bar weight distribution hitch which can handle more weight than the mini 350 and is much easier to hook up. I have been very satisfied with this weight distribution hitch. It is item number 4301 at Hitch Mart and is $269.95 now I see.

I bet you don't have a Coleman/Fleetwood PU, do you? As far as I know the only WDH that will work with the Coleman/Fleetwood PUs is the Reese mini 350.  That is why CalRanger asked about that WDH specifically. :)

I have the Hitchmart item 4301 single bar WDH with a Coleman Cheyenne and don't have any issues using it. It was incredibly easy to install and very easy to use.

What side is your tongue jack on and what side is your single bar on?  It is good to hear that there are options for Coleman/Fleetwood trailer owners, thanks.:)

Hey, its been almost 5 months since I last used the PUP so I hope my memory is still intact  :p Boy, the winters are long here in Minnesota  :(

Looking at the PUP from the van the tongue jack is on the right side. The single bar hangs centrally underneath the frame. The lifting handle (not sure if that is the correct WDH terminology) opens and closes parallel to the propane tanks going from left to right.

The friction anti sway bar is on the left.

Peter would this system work if the sway bar and the tongue jack were on the opposite sides of the tongue, or would there be something in the way?:)

It shouldn't make any diffrence.

Thanks for all the responses. This is a great forum.
I have a 2000 coleman cheyene with the swingout jack on the door side. I already have the sway control mounted on the other side. After researching the info and comments from this forum I think I will go with the Reese 400 single bar WDH. It looks like it should be easy to use and allow me to use my existing sway control. I am going to take some measurements to confirm this.

Thanks All

tlhdoc   As a matter of fact I do have a Coleman popup camper. It is a 1995 Coleman Avalon. My tongue jack is on the left side as I face the trailer from the hitch and my sway control is installed on the right side of the A frame tongue. The single bar for the weight distribution hitch goes under the A frame and just about centered when it is hooked up. It is very easy to hook up since all I have to do is swing the hook up handle to the hook up position and hook one chain from the bar to a J hook on the handle and then swing the handle back into the hooked up positon and put a hitch clip in place --- all done and ready to go.  The only thing I  had to do on my trailer was move the tongue jack back about 5 inches because of the battery tray location on the A frame. I made the battery tray my self so it might not be a problem with the factory one though.
