I just bought my 1st pup. It's a 2002 Starcraft 1701L ,8 ft with no frills. Apparently it's had light use and been stored inside, as it looks new. I paid $2800 for it. My research tells me that I got a "fair" deal, but, I've been wrong before.  :  :!

I've got no idea about the deal, but welcome.  I'm sure you are going to have a good time with your new pup.  Congrats.

Welcome !!! What a great way to start the camping season. If those are the original tires. you will want to replace them and lube your wheel bearings before you hit the open road.

Thanks for the advise, and the welcome. The tires don't look to be dry rotted ,but you're right they probably should be changed . As for the bearings ,I 've already installed "bearing buddies" and repacked them. I can't wait to go on a test trip, as soon as, I can find the time.

$2800.00 for an excellent conditioned camper is certainly not a bad deal ...!  I'm sure you'll get more than your money's worth out of it before all's said & done.

As for the tires ... I'm sure they are 5:30 X 12' (load range "C") tires and the required inflation for them is 80 PSI ... make dog gone sure that's what you have in them.

I know ... that's what my little Starcraft has.

Congratulations!  I have no idea what used pop-ups sell for, but, your vacation memories will be priceless and so much nicer than tent camping (if you did that before).

Either way, Carpe Diem!
