I thought of this thread last night while sitting on the patio. Thought there could be some good humor in it while we wait on Memorial Day weekend trips.  Of course, we are still "rookies" I suppose, so it might even be a learning thing for us!

So my entry is (saw this one a couple of weeks ago when we were camping):   they are standing in the pouring down rain squirting a bottle of lighter fluid on the fire to keep it going.

They guy who bought my 98 Jayco a few weeks ago called me the next day and said.  "How do you set the parking break when you un-hitch".  He had un-hitched and let the trailer roll into his other car.

You know you're a rookie when you roll out of bed and out of the camper because you forgot to bungie the bottom of the tent-ends.

(I'm sure I could come up with some more if I think about it.)

You know you are a rookie when you try to get a 120V appliance to work, right after you buy and charge a brand new deep cycle battery, and you hook it up. :(

I resemble so many remarks on this thread.  ;)
