first trip

Hi:  Cannot remember how long it has been since I was on this site last or if I was even registered.  Anyways I hope everyone had a great weekend.  It was our first trip out everyone enjoyed it.  But it was cold and wet all weekend spent most of our time in the trailer.  Two of the kids actually tried the pool but only got in for a few minutes and then ended up in the hot tub for a little while.  I did not venture into either.

We have a big trip planned this summer to the maritimes so I have many questions to run by you all.

Welcome, or welcome back, cdnmadex5! Glad to hear that you have launched your camping season. We in the northeast are always pushing it when we get out in May, but, hey - why wait?

We also got out on our first trip of the year this weekend. It was sort of a combination of business and camping. Our older daughter had a graduation ceremony in Philadelphia, so we camped on Saturday night and Sunday night. There isn't much in the way of camping accommodations near Philly, but we found a decent little campground just over the state line in New Jersey. It was very convenient for us, and we took a "tent" site with no hookups. I was expecting a sardine can, but found ourselves in a nicely-wooded setting. The name of the campground is Timberlane.
