Medora, ND?

Anyone camped in Medora, ND.  The only two campgrounds with hookups I can find are Medora Campground nad Red Trail Campground and I can't find much information or any pictures for them.  I have a two and four year old so I was hoping to find a campground with a pool and playground.

We are staying there for three nights.  I'm not even sure about going to that area. Is it worth it? We will be in Interior, SD and Rapid City, SD for three nights each before going to ND  - maybe we should just stay longer in those places.

I haven't camped in Medora.  I've been through there several times and my parents have stayed there.  From what I remember neither campground is that great ~ both wide open and dusty.  The town is kind of neat to go through, but I wouldn't spend more than a day doing that.  (In fact I didn't spend more than a day!)

Having said that ~ I would look into staying at Theordore Roosevelt NP just north of there.  That's on my list of places to camp someday.  The park itself is really nice ~ just never had an opportunity to camp there.
