Codorus State Park

We just camped at Codorus State Park last weekend and it was the worst camping experience of our life.  Camp staff and Park Rangers are mean and hateful.  We were actually approached by a ranger with his hand on his gun because we were  never given a tag a sign in to post on our site marker.  Like we should have known to do that when it wasn't even given to us.  We were harrassed at least 3 times during our stay for absolutely nothing.  I will never go back to Codorus.  I also found this following review on another site from May of 2005, so it is not just me.

Well, personally I think it is an ok park.  Not near what the website shows it as.  The pictures you see are of the actual park not the campground.  Those places shown in the photos are actually about 5 miles from the campground.  The pool is not part of the camground and you have to pay $3 a head per day.  Website definitely overblows the park but I guess most of them do.
