We have a 2006 2106 Starcraft. What would be a good generator to buy. How much can we expect to spend. Finally, how does it hook up? Thanks

Use the formula "Volts x Amps = Watts" to figure how much generator you will need.  I'll bet 3000 watts is more than ample for most PU trailers.  Get something really quiet (Onan-Honda etc.) to keep from disturbing yourself and your neighbors and expect to pay around $2000.00

What do you want to run with the generator?  If you want to run an air conditioner you will probably need a 3000 watt generator to be safe.
