Does anyone know of any nice camp grounds in the Castle Rock area that offers monthly stays? I am in the process of relocating and my house won't be ready by the time I am out there. Camping seems like the best way (and most economical) to be out there until the house is done. Thanks everyone.

Hopefully you've found something by now, but if not, I saw this:

And a bit further away on the NE side of Colorado Springs, is the Falcon Meadow Campground.  I know they do specialize in longer-term stays. They are not far from my house.

Thanks so much. I haven't needed to find something quite yet, but this certainly is a start. I need one with shower facilities since my pop up doesn't have one. Do you know if the Castle Rock Campground offers them? I just sent them an email to inquire, but thought you may know since you are from the area. Thanks again!

No, I'm sorry...I don't know. But I would guess that they do. Most private campgrounds do.

Best wishes! And congrats on the new home! It'sighty different up here than Florida (my family's from P'cola, so I know what Florida's like as well).

Thanks again. I wrote the campground, but they haven't responded. I will have to give them a call. They broke ground on my new house this week. Now just to sell mine here in Florida! That should be interesting to say the least. The market is pretty is dead here right now. Gee what will life be like with no humidity? It will take some getting used to not cracking a sweat just by walking outside. Ha Ha.

Don't know if you have arrived here in CO. but welcome :)
I have been here exactly a year and WE love it...
I grew up in Fl. then moved to CA., don't miss humidity at all, but you don't know till you leave...ENJOY!!
