This probably isn't the right place to post, but...

Any recommendations on a good route from Indianapolis (South Side) to Turkey Run SP in Indiana? I can handle hills, etc, just have never been to that part of the state and it looks like a good haul from the interstate(s).

Thanks!

Route 36 is a little more leisurely.  You may have to contend with more traffic through Plainfield and Avon, but I have pulled my pop-up from Indy across it to Rockville. You would then go North about ten miles on 41 to Turkey Run.  Coming from the South side of Indy, coming across 36 is probably the way I would go to Turkey Run as it is much more scenic with several interesting places to visit on the way. (Garden centers that my wife cannot pass by, Cecil Harden Raccoon Lake, Rockville Lake, lots of antique shops, Terre Vin winery, covered bridges, and Billie Creek Village).

Alternatively you may go West on I-74 and then South on 41.  Although driving faster, this takes you a bit out of your way and you only get interstate scenery.

Have a great trip!

Route 36 it is! Not a fan of towing through rush hour traffic on city streets, but I think it'll be worth it - specially if there's a winery that's open along the route! :)

Thanks for the feedback!
