Power convertor fan

I have my Fleetwood Cheyenne connected to 110V power supply. Whenever we have the overhead lights on for more than 20 minutes, the fan for the power convertor goes on. Is this normal?

Yes it is normal. Mine does the same thing. When you use the lights, the converters transformer has to go to work, and when it does that it makes heat. If it didn't have that cooling fan, you'd burn something up inside the converter.

Yes it is normal.  When the converter is changing power from 110 AC to 12 volt DC power the fan will run to cool the converter.

Until the converter is cooled adequately.  In other words, it's difficult to tell.  It may run for a few minutes, or (if the lights are still on or the battery still charging), it may run continuously.

I find that when I get up in the morning, the fan is not on.  It seems when I go to bed at night, it is.  I have never noticed it turn off.

The fan is controlled by a "Thermistor" or a "Thermoswitch" and cut's on and off according to the temp detected. The more/longer you burn lights etc, the longer it will need to run...
