Anybody else been to the Great Minnesota Get-Together yet?  We spent 9 hours there Sunday.

I thought the Hot Dish on a Stick was OK, not as good as the real thing.

Hey AB ~ we just got back.  We left the house at 8:45 this morning and returned at 10:00 tonight.  My kids were awesome!  They've even gotten old enough we could spend some time in the Creative Arts building!

Can't believe I missed Hot Dish on a stick.  The only food-on-a-stick we had were the Pronto Pups.

We drove by the campground on the way back to the park-and-ride and decided that our site at Wild River last weekend was much nicer than any of the sites at the fairgrounds!

I shot over 200 pictures at the fair, mostly of food service signs.  Watch for a future "on a stick" webpage post.

The hotdish on a stick was new.  The booth was near the midway rides (the "grownup" rides, not the kiddie Midway).  Beyond that I can't say where it was, we wandered a bit despite our plans.

got back from the cities last night. we camped for ten days at Willow River State Park in hudson,wi.  Went to the fair last Thursday and Friday
and went back again this past Tuesday. We wanted to go agian, but just ran out of time. I really liked the new birth canter, and got to name one og the new lambs. ( i namded her Sara) My favorite food still has to be the french fries that are 4.50 for the medium size.
My husbnad would like to camp at the fair next year, if anyone has done it with the pop-up , please let me know how it went.

The first fay we spent  10 hours, the second day about 11, and the third day 12  hours!
