I am thinking of purchasing a 1967 Skamper. I can't seem to find out how much it weighs though? Anybody out there know, even roughly?

I have a 1970 Skamper and would also like to know the weight. I have been able to pull it with a 1994 Jeep Cherokee without any difficulty.
At present, I am working on a new canvas for it. I am not putting on the pull out side, just using the couch and dinette to sleep. Have three sides done so far!

I'll bet it weighs less than any camper of equivalent footprint made today.

I have a 68 Skamp, and I'm betting it weighs less than 1000 pounds easily.  I have pulled it with my 04 Durango (tho with the Hemi it will pull most anything) But I have an old 77 Toyota fj40 and it pulls it quite easily.

I asked the previous owner to have it weighed. He took it to a truck scale, but most lumber yards have scales too.

Have them weight it with only the trailer tires on the scale. Then weight it with the entire camper on the scale (disconnected from the tow vehicle). The difference will be the weight on your hitch.

My Skamper weighs $1750 dry, but it is a '91.
