to the dark side.Or as we call it in GLPUC,the foofybutt area. I haven't been on here for a while and just thought I would tell you that the Yellow Evolution has been replaced with a starcraft 18RB expandable.

Congratulations on the new trailer.  :)

yeah, same here- went to a Jayco Jayfeather 232. But we have many, many fond memories of our trips in our pop ups.

We have only camped in it 2 nights and that was last weekend. One thing for sure, the furnace works great. We have the one with one bed up front and the other out the side.We are really looking forward to spring.

I am glad you got to try it out before you ended your camping season.  Otherwise it would be a very long winter.:D

griffsmom

Congrats on the new camper!  I'm hoping we can go "foofybutt" before the end of the year.  we're looking at Travelstar 23SBS. :D

I'm so glad I could broaden your word base.  :book:  :D I think you can have as much fun with foofybutt as we do.

Congratulations!  That is a new word for me also.  LOL  We are heavily leaning to the darker side.  We are looking at TT's as we are tired of making beds every time.  I guess we are getting lazy or old, or possibly both.  Hope you enjoy your new camper and make tons of memories.

Well as a TT owner that wont change...
We still make up our queen sized bed every day..
The bunks in the back all have sleeping bags, so they are not made up and by the time the kids are ready for bed you cant even see the bunks because all the crap they pile up on them..
So if you think you wont have to make beds with a TT.. I can tell you that wont change....
from someone who TT camps.. or is it I am foofybutt camper...

Is "foofybutt" anything like what we use to reference in the military to as a "Candy A$$" ?

Inquiring minds would like to know, that's all.

byrdr 1-I was thinking more in terms of not having to drop the ends and put sheets, pillows, blankets etc on the beds at every stop and removing them when leaving.  My interpretation of 'making a bed' is throw the blanket up and close the door.  LOL  DGD, 3, is the only child that camps with us and she can clutter the entire camper in no time.  At least with a bunk maybe she will keep part of it there.

I found that making the beds at home makes camp setup less of a hassle by far.
When I wash the bedding at home, I make the beds with the PU partially set up. ie the canvas isn't bungied and the sides unzipped. That way I don't have to crawl over the beds to make them. I can stand outside and reach over. Then it is ready to go for the next trip. I can close the camper down with the beds made - foam crates, sheets, quilts and all (except pillows).
Of course that is the summer bedding; the winter bedding is easier- two Wal Mart sleeping bags zipped together. Roll'em out and and crawl in.
Snuggle snuggle! Ahh the cold night air, the full moon shinning throught the canvas, the owls hooting and coyotes calling. The joys of camping....sigh!

"Foofybutt" came from this year's GLPUC rally, where the hybrids and TT's were parked compared to the pop-ups.:eyecrazy: (they needed or wanted full hook-ups.....);)

DAK2

OK "old yeller" I'm going to rat you out to GLPUC (not dark but gray side)
