essentials for newbie

Yahoo!  We just bought our first pop-up...a 2001 Coleman Cheyenne.  What would you recommend as essentials for purchase and/or great modifications?  We are planning on all new upholstery, flooring and mattresses. We appreciate any feedback.

First of all, congrats on your N2U camper! I think you will enjoy it very much.

There are several places on the web that offer camping checklists. And there are dozens of pictures showing mods that folks have done. Just browse around and see what you can find. I'm sure much more experienced campers will offer you advice.

For starters, here is a nice checklist on things to stock in your camper...Natasha's Camping Checklist. Natasha is the name of the dog of that camping family.
