PUT online

I have question for the PUT readers. We're thinking about making the magazine available online as well as in print and offering 2 subscription prices.

$6.98 for online access only and $11.98 for both the print version and the online access. Same magazine, same layout, same everything except the online version will be available at the same time that the magazine goes to the printer, which means you'll see it 3-4 weeks sooner (2 weeks to print & mail; 1-2 weeks for the USPS to deliver).

Let me know your thoughts.

I like the convenience of the online "e-zine", being able to pull up an article whenever I want, etc. But there's something about having a real magazine to flip through. Plus you can take a printed magazine anywhere unlike the "e-zine" where you have to have internet access.

Agree. It's hard to carry a computer to the...um...patio.

I guess I would say both..not sure why the added cost is for online but it's not enough to scare me away..

I like the idea of an online and printed version.

I would gladly pay for both.  I like having a printed copy of the magazine to show to new PU campers I meet.  And I couldn't live w/o my online access to the boards.
