I was just re-reading this thread when I noticed in post #29 that Bob mentioned that Califonria Campers will be at this cg the same weekend as this rally. If I'm not mistaken, this is the same group that at Flying Flags when we were there in February--you know the ones with the flags. :D  I think some of our group went down and tried to be friendly with them, but were rebuffed in a snobby, elitist sort of way.  Mean people suck! So I say, let's all bring our flags, fly them with pride, and show this other group what it means to be a real camping group! :Z ;) :!

I say, let's all go for a walk around the campground and when we come upon the "snooty group", we stop and let the kids play loud and ride their bikes through their campsites.   I think they'll love that.

 Kim,
If you notice, that there are more families with small kids in birch area. There is always a reason for what happens in this world. This is called "Pay Back" for not being "Open and Friendly" when we tried to talk to them at FF in Feb.
The group is the California Campers. They are senior citizens who will be sharing the birch site. They have the middle and out lying row. So to have a Hallwoeen parade would be just fine. We can make it for their "tea hour" right before our potluck dinner on Saturday.

I also noticed that all of the party animals from our group are in Alder.  Maybe we should host a campfire in Birch one evening & invite the other club over for a few cool ones ...  I could also teach Jed how to howl ... :Z

It might be nice to have the Bon Fire in the middle of Birch with the Fish Squad in fine form with lots of Cactus Coolers & loud poker being played.   I bet they would appreciate the warm fire and would love to join us.  Oh, wait a minute, seniors go to bed early, they probably won't be able to join us.

Naaah, no worries. Before they go to bed, they'll take their hearing aids out and never hear a thing...:sombraro:

Remember, that their bedtime is right after what they call "supper", usually occuring at about 2:30-3:00 in the afternoon.  They might actually be glad that our fireside activities wake them at 2 or 3 a.m.  That's about what time these folks like to get up and be the first to go to the store for the morning paper, and get a good jump on whatever it is they're going to bitch and whine about that day!  Besides we're helping them out in as much as the more you complain the longer God makes you live!!!  Additionally, we may have to introduce "mischief night" (T.P. and shave cream anyone?)into our Halloween festivities, after we've brought the Halloween parade through their site a couple of dozen times.

I like the idea myself. Brings back memories.

On a side note....Do you guys need all three of those tow vehicles listed in your signature to tow that new Attitude? It must be way heavier than mine.

I can see it now, We are going to kick out the first night! Now on a brighter note I can deal on a case of T.P. I think that in decorating the campsites in birch, be as "creative" as you can be! Something to the effect of strobe lights and lots of thunder making items. I can bring my fog machine and will just need a really long hose. Maybe I could hook the machine up to a number of their sewer hoses. The look on their face when they see white smoke coming back up thru their toilets! Priceless! So yes the parade will be a special part of our activities.
