Hey Bob,

Put us down for Zesty Italian Chicken and fruit salad/platter for the potluck. Also do the gifts we purchase for the prizes in relation to the costume contest need to be generic (could go to a boy or girl) ?

Oh, such a long drive for you...we may not be able to leave till 4pm on Friday...and with the 12 miles we have to drive, I don't know about you, but I think I may need a drink when we get there after our trip!

They don't have to be but should be..this is how we've done it it the past.

every kid that shows up in costume brings a prize and we put the prizes on the table.  then we do the contest by age groups youngest to oldest.

the "winners" of each group (youngest to oldest) get to pick first fro the prizes. then we let the youngest kids go choose a prize and so on. This way EVERY child should have a prize.

If we do generic prizes I think it will work out better. DD does NOT like girl stuff, unless it's craft stuff, and hates the color pink.  if you go to Target or Walmart they usually have some cool stuff on clearance. IMHO I would avoid 99 cent store toys due to all the lead recalls

1 MORE WEEK!!!

We will already be there on Friday but Thursday will be a heck of a trip for us...Can't we camp closer to San Diego sometime?  Oh yah, Camperland in Nov..now that is really close!

I will bring a hot dish chicken casserole for the pot luck.

I'm trying to get DH to sign up for San Mateo in Feb.  There was a site next to the Hardee's available so we'll see.

We'll probably leave Friday after Matt gets out of school (3 pm) and head on out.  We aren't planning on getting there in the daylight.

We are planning on bringing either Meatballs in BBQ sauce or stuffed mushrooms.

This is our last trip of the season so BOO HOO for us.

Can you find out for us what Chris Hively will be bringing to the potluck. Since he is not a member and never repiles, you are his main source of information.

Man! I don't know what I am making for the potluck.  Hmmm...maybe a creamy mac and cheese...and a dessert (store-bought).

Abracadabra!  Poof!  Go between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., (but no later than 11:15 a.m.)!  It lightens up right about then on Fridays! ;)

Potluck, Hmmmm?? Havn't given that much thought.  Another DO experiment perhaps?

Hi again, it's me, the wagonmaster.
I have a small problem. Her name is Chloe. Since no dogs can go to the pumpkin patch and we can't leave them in our trailers unattended, would anyone who is staying at camp, be willing to watch her for a few hours?
I know it is asking alot but the only other alternative is to stay at camp with her and Trina and Theresa go to the pumpkin patch. I will then have a unused ticket that someone can buy from me, like say JimQPublic.

They know about the potluck and want to participate...They will bring something... That is why its called a potluck....They also know about the $3.00-$5.00 gift thing for the halloween contest and I am bringing some extra gifts also...get stuff when it is on clearance, I always buy more than I need.

Why can't you leave a dog unattended in your trailer?  Is someone always with her at home?  Are you afraid she will bark?  We are leaving Jellybean in the trailer.  She has a crate she stays in.  Just make sure she has a small bowl of water and she eats before you go and she'll be fine.  Leave your keys with someone that is staying just in case she starts to bark alot and you will be fine.
