Nice Pics, but you have got to be CRAZY  :screwy:  :J  What made you want to go camping in the dead of winter? My wife and I left Wisconsin to get away from that stuff, I like living out West better!!!!

We camped in January and had to cancel the February trip:frosty: , so I had to make this trip.  I just had to camp.:screwy:  It was supposed to be a group trip, but the rest of the group couldn't make it to the campground, because of the snow storm.  I went a day early.:D

We made a trip this weekend as well, but our weather was a bit different: highs in the mid to upper 60s, lows in the 30s. All in western Idaho, no less. Gorgeous weather!

I looked at your pictures. You are a brave soul!  :D

Stupid question?  with it being that cold do you expirence any condensation problems?  I'm in southern California and from time to time I have been getting a shower from my bunk ends and I thought I knew what cold was.

We have "been caught" in the snow a couple of times while camping at Julian, (close to San Diego), last year.  We never have had condensation issues with our PopUp, (even down to 15F degrees - Big Bear, Serrano Campground).  But, we leave each window flap open a little, and use the factory bunklight/fan units to move the air while we sleep. And we keep the furnace on to keep the PopUp comfortably warm, about 74 degrees.

Not a stupid question at all.  I was using electric heat, so the camper was very dry.  Using the bunkend covers helps to eliminate/reduce condensation on the bunkends, when we do not have electric hookups.  We also keep a window or two partly open and run a fan to help circulate the air.:)

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to run out and get my fans this week.  I have been trying to leave the flaps open a bit but on our last trip out 3 weeks ago in caspers wilderness park, ca it got down to about 34 not cold for east coast but a bit chilly for southern california.  We had a dry camp and was some condensation not to bad but still dont want any if we can avoid it.  Thanks Toby.

Just curious, how cold was it?  It looks beautiful.  If we get snow in central Texas, better get out the door fast to play in it, because it will be gone by noon.  Every house will have a melting snowman by 10am.
