awnings

Anyone have any feedback on carefree awnings?  I saw one called the supersport I think for pop ups that self stores and looks really easy to use....

I would check out the shademaker awning available from rv workshop on the home page of pop up times.  Also available from the jc whitney catalog.

We just put the Carefree Supersport on - picked the pu up on Saturday.  We are heading out this week-end; I'll report back next week on how I like the new awning!

I have the Carefree Campout awning and absolutely love it.  It requires a little more work than the SuperSport, but I can still manage it all by myself.  Something I couldn't do with the old awning.

We used to only use the awning if we were staying some place for more than 3 days.  Now we put it out every trip.

Of course I did!  (umm.....NO).  And, they told us it took them the better part of a day to install it.  Apparently they had never installed that particular one before.  They had to measure and measure and measure, or something.  I can't wait to try it out.  We hated dealing with the old awning and only put it up twice in two years.  It was just too much of a hassle with a dog on a tie out.

Another Carefree Campout here, too.  As mentioned above, I can set it up all by myself in about 5 minutes...comes down just as quick, and you can drop it in a second if a sudden storm catches you by surprise.
