Question for anyone

Someone said "Never raise or lower the PU with the stablizer legs down" seems to me this would make it very top heavy and unstable. Especially on a windy day.

Someone said "Never raise or lower the PU with the stablizer legs down" seems to me this would make it very top heavy and unstable. Especially on a windy day.

I posted an answer for your question as to why the stabilzers out not to be down when raising or lowering the roof on the previous thread.  As for a windy day ... there's a certain amount of give or sway engineered into the design of the roof when extented to the raised position. Of course, if the wind got to the point when the raised roof caused the camper to become top heavy and unstable ... your in a heap of trouble!
