We made it home without a problem and without getting stuck in the construction on I-80.  I had a great time.  Thank you all for come along and spending this splendid weekend with me.  The weather was outstanding, the food was great and the friends couldn't be better.  Camperjohn I hope you had a good trip and that we will see you at North-South Lake in 2 weeks.  Andy I hope you don't have any major problems with your foot.  jazman thank you for hosting the pot luck dinner.  Paula the cake and mashed potatoes were wonderful.  Chip thank you again for purchasing, storing and delivering the heater.  Rick thanks for coming.  I wish you could have stayed longer and we could have visited longer.  Di thank you for walking and talking with me.  I had a very good birthday.  I hope all of our trips are this good.:)

Hi All,

Home safe and sound.

Only downer is a flare up of my CRS disease (can't remember squat), I left some lynx blocks at the dump station.

I'm really really, really hoping that maybe Chip saw them before he left the dump station and grabbed them.

But, if not, no biggie.. It ain't a jazman camping trip if'n I don't screw something up...

LOL John.  I hope your CRS improves.:D

Great weekend, hated to see it end. Everyone took such good care of me. Thanks everyone!!!

Ride home was thankfully uneventful, stopped at the A&W/Long John Silvers and had the fish and chicken dinner...I do not get that often since we ain't got none down here.  They had the root beer float with REAL Icecream on special for 99 cents...Yummmmmmm. Got gas across the street at Wawa, what a busy place..."cheap" gas.

Was tied up on the ramp getting on I 95 South, and found out a mile or so down the road it was a gapper delay...hate them rubber neckers.

Did real good backing and hitching up at the campground...sometimes my left to right accuracy susprises me (considering I could not back the truck WITHOUT the camper into the site last night (that is why I do not drive at night any more and went back around the loop and headed in...) had a little harder time front to back.

Backed it into the drive real good this afternoon, just had to straighten a couple of time so I can hug the fence without hitting the fence...

Raymond grabbed the roast and potatoes out of the cooler and chowed down, probably his best meal all week end.  Pots are washed and back where they belong.

I am going to get me one of those gas fired skillets...the "Slow Cooker" is anything but slow...but I liked it anyway.  But I do see why they are not being sold anymore, even Low was a full boil.

Think I will get me a ham sandwich, and go to bed...tomorrow is a work day, back to the real world (pout pout)

Got home here around seven, having gotten hung in the same gapper jam as Paula.

Tracy--glad you had a great birthday weekend.:cake:

It was good seeing everybody, and meeting Andy and Helga.  Andy--Hope your foot gets better.

Jaz--I counted nine lynx blocks, which are now piled on my deck.  Tried to holler at you, but you were focused on your escape and were gone before I could make a sound.  Gotta figger out how to get them to you.

PUP towed better coming home than it did going...Need to analyze things to figure out why.  Still plan to put an anti-sway device on.  Need to adjust the brakes too.

Til next time...:W

Chip, if we can do better with their links levelers than we did with Tracy's heater, Their daughter used to live on this side of the creek John and Erika would visit her (hence how they got Dingo), if she is still over here, I am on their way back and forth across the big creek. If their daughter still lives in the same town, they come within 2 blocks of my house when they see her. I would be happy to meet you (and Margie of course) somewhere and get them. Ain't going nowhere this week end I know of, so I could drive down your way.

And I can also go across the Bridge too.  Maybe try one of those Dinners John was talking about.

dademt

Chip, if you are up near my work before the NS lake trip you could drop them off with me and I will take them up with me for Jaz. Just another idea.  If you do, just watch as the one pothole on Davidson Lane is getting bigger by the day and could take out a tire if your not careful.

SheBantam

Scott, that is even a better idea since I am not going to North-South Lake.

We arrived home without incident. Left HR 1/2 hr before kickout time so we actually had time to unload everything (and put stuff away) before leaving for K's soccer game. Beautiful weather continued even in NJ. Gotta love it. Makes ya want to camp haha. Finally a COTOC weekend with good weather! Can't wait for the next one.

Chip,

Thanks a bunch for grabbing the blox.

Scott & Paula thanks for the offers.

Chip if you are travelling near Scott's work and it would be easy for you to effect a transfer, that would be great. Otherwise, if you're going to be around this coming Saturday afternoon, I would happily drive down to you to pick them up.

Your pleasure Sir,

jaz

Scott/Jaz--

Turns out I have a meeting 8:30 Wednesday morning in Wilmington.  I can drop them with Scott after that is over.  I'll give Scott a call when I'm in the neighborhood.

Jaz--

My pleasure would be to deliver them in person at North-South Lake.  :D

I was hoping they were yours, as I gathered them up and stuffed them in the back of my truck.  Chances were pretty good, I figgered.
