Does anyone know an easy way to remove the annual park stickers from your windshield?    I've been told to use a razor blade, but wouldn't that scratch the heck out of the windshield?

Who ever told you to use a razor blade was full of......accuracy :p .

Razor blade should not scratch the glass. Whatever you do, don't use a heat gun on laminated glass. Could get ugly. You can get razor scrapers at any hardware store. The 99 cent store sells them but they are junk (99 cents worth).

A razor blade is the best and easiest way to remove any sticker and residue from a windshield.  The key, is to hold the blade at as sharp of an angle as possible to the window.  Have a paper towel handy, with some alchohol on it, to clean the blade off a couple or three times during removal of the sticker.  Be very careful not to cut your self!

Another pointer is don't scrape the razor blade back and forth. Push it through the sticker then pick it up and push it through again. Use windex during this process as well. "Goof Off" works really well too, put it on, let it sit for a few and then use a plastic putty knife to scrape it off. A credit card will work in a pinch. 25 years in the glass business, I've tried them all.

A product I have used with success to remove glue residue after using the razor scraper is Goo Gone. It will leave a bit of a film so some window cleaner will be needed for a sparkling clean job. Good luck

PJay swears by GooGone.  I don't use it often, but I know when she uses it, it does the job.
