At the start of the camping season last year we noticed a pu in someones driveway while sitting at the stop light. We looked at eachother and said that family is gonna have fun this year. Well towards the end of the season the pu was still in the same place on flats, after driving by a 10xs I thought well what the heck it can't hurt to knock on the door and ask if they'd like to sell it.

She was so happy I stopped and asked, she said she got it in the divorce 3yrs ago and doesn't plan on using it. It's a 91 Palimino Pinto, when we helped her pop it up 3 young kids came running out side and I thought well it's going to look like crap inside. My suprise it didn't even look used at all, only 2 sm spots on the floor. They always used a bbq grill for cooking and jugs for water. So now I'm thinking crap she wants alot because of the such good condition WRONG we bought it for $600. We used it last year at the end of season but didn't try out the stove or hook battery or heater, we were so happy to camp with out sleeping in a tent we made those nights work out good.

So now this year we are going to test disenfect and prepare everything correctly. And of course have lots of fun.

Great story!  I see many unused PUPs around.  I wonder how many people buy them and only use them once or twice.  I believe there are good deals to be had on most used PUPs.  I always ask and am planning on moving into a preowned highlander Niagra at some point.
