I Have an opportunity to get this at 225.00 for all.  Is it worth it for a lighter PUP?

I am getting first shot at it before he puts it to sale.

That depends on two things - what is your tow vehicle, and what is your pop-up?

While I am a strong proponent of weight distributing hitches, there are some tow vehicles that should avoid them, there are some campers that can be damaged by them, and there are many pop-ups that just don't need them.

I am not an expert on this subject, but if memory serves correctly, the Reese Single Bar distribution hitch doesn't fit every popup. There are things "in the way" on the trailer tongue for proper installation and use. Make sure it will work with your application.

Thanks all - my TV is a Tahoe 2006 and my PUP is a Coleman Chesapeake 1989...

After I posted this question I thought to myself, you'll know if you need it if you get on the highway above 55 and you're having issues.  Well I took it out and the PUP doesn't cause any problems at all so I am gonna pass on the offer.  No sway or anything at all.
