Hi everyone.  First time back in the forums since last year and looking forward to our 1st trip during Memorial Day weekend at Odetah in CT!

We have to original crunchy plastic shower curtains in our PUP.  Does anyone know of any waterproof cloth alternatives that's easier to store and dry?

Thanks!

I have a great Army-Navy surplus store nearby that sells old parachutes. makes a great shower curtain. (Some assembly required)

I use 2 fabric shower curtains.  They are not waterproof, but nothing gets wet.  One curtain isn't long enough to go all the way around the shower.:)

This is what I may look at next.  I just thought there would be some company out there that made replacement curtains.  Some design that would include about a foot of mesh along the top by the hooks for ventilation and some type of tight woven light weight cloth that would make the trip to almost the shower floor.  This would make it much easier to take down, dry and fold.

I've been known to do a good stitch job with patches on my son's scout uniform...

The first thing to go in my new pup was the 50 pound shower curtain! I found semi waterproof cloth curtains at Walmart. I think they are marked as hotel curtains and cost about $10 each. I needed two to go around the entire rail. For the hooks, I used the 1 inch round hinged clips from the office supply isle and hooked them in the curtain rings. I needed to overlap about 5 rings. I store the curtain in a large 2.5 gal ziplock bag and keep the frame attached to the roof. Before showering, I  hook a ring on each of the rollers on the frame. After showering, I take the curtain and hang it outside on my clothesline to dry. It is very light and takes just a little while to dry.
