Hello from a new guy from Denver.
Gained a 85 Coleman Columbia last fall and am now getting it ready. Besides water leaks I have discovered I need a Stabilizer Jack handle. The copy of the manual I have is not very clear but it looks like a tire iron of sorts. Anyone suggest a substitute, a place to get another one? I tried a scewdriver, my TV jack handle and eyed one of those foot long spikes at Home Depot, no luck yet.
Going to Chatfield for trial test and later to Mueller which I hear is great.
Thanks for the help.

I could use info on this as well. When I got back to Austin after my first time out with Niagra, I discoverd, or rather didn't discover, my tool to lower the foot pegs, sand pads, what ever they are called.

I also need one before my next trip. Someone in Texas now has two of them!!

That learning curve has bent into a pretzel for me.

I went to the dealership on Monday.  I bought an extra crank just in case I forget mine somewhere.  It was $20.  I saw this site posted somewhere, I can't remember where.  //www.rvpartsoutlet.com  Good luck in your search.

I just ordered some new stabilizers from JCWhitney and the jack handle that came with them seems to be just a piece of 1/2" round steel about 12" long.  Check the diameter but should be able to buy 1/2" round stock at any hardware store.

That is just about right. I still have my original and that's about the size of it. Although the very end is cut in half about 1/2" back. This facilitates getting it into the slot in the back.

The reality is, a fairly large screw driver should do just fine. I used one once when I forgot my handle at home. You really don't need to put that much force on it. You just want it on the ground solid so that the trailer is stable.

Never try to jack your trailer up with the stabilizers, you can actually bend your frame and it just isn't necessary. You should level your trailer before putting the stabilizers down.

Was missing mine too- went to harbor freight and got a set of 3/8 drive extensions-  they do double duty in the tool kit as an extension and a stab tool.  Think it cost around $10.  I did see the actual tool in a catalog last night for $4.
