Memorial Day Weekend Destinations?

We are headed out tonight to Salt Lick Creek (COE cg). We have never camped there before, but have driven through. Lakefront and pull-through site. I can't wait!!! We'll be camping with some TPUC friends, too.

10,000 feet up in the Rockies!!! Going to drive as high as we can on jeep trails until we hit snow.

Headed out tomorrow morning to a little boondock campground about an hour drive from here called Morgans. Nice little campground with sites right on the Little Miami River and a bike trail accessible directly from the campground. We usually do the first and last camp trip of the season there because it's normally cool enough to not require the A/C.

I am on vacation this week (but wife is not) so I took the kayak and went kayak camping for a couple of days. This weekend we are throwing the kayaks on the pup and heading up to Donner lake to paddle and hike and all that other fun stuff.

We are doing the southern Adirondacks - Sacandaga Campground. Our maiden voyage in our '04 Bayside.

As excited as I am, I must admit Cheryl's private campground has me rather envious - my kinda party!!

My family is going to the Cannon Falls campground on Saturday til monday. I gotta work for the Post Office to deliver all the mail. Wife is gonna be hitching up the camper and park it on the street until I get home!! DD definitely cannot wait!!! :-()

We have all helped them do improvements on their property and house and we have been awarded life-time memberships in this private exclusive camp resort! LOL We get to inaugurate the new "Hot Tub" Party room this weekend! Yeah!!! Campfires, Hot Tub, Good friends, Good food, and lots of stars.......nothing is better! That sounds like the top camping spot so far!
We just got our popup and have camped just once in it. We are staying home this weekend, tending to the garden....my new favorite pastime.

The only campground mentioned in this thread that I have been to is Hunting Island! I have thought so much about going back there and now with a popup would be perfect. We camped before in a tent and loved it! Just not in the back swampy area with mosquitos. Hope everyone has a wonderful, safe weekend!
